BONE MARROW BIOPSY NEEDLE WITH INTEGRATED TRAPPING DEVICE

TRAP EASY is a bone marrow biopsy needle with integrated trapping device.

Device Features:

• easy and quick activation system of the internal trap with a simple lever on the handle (Fig. A)
• larger sample than traditional Jamshidi needles with the same outer diameter
• cylindrical needle, with depth marks, for a precise control of the insertion depth
• crown tip for an excellent tissue coring (Fig. B)
• pyramidal tip stylet for an easy penetration of bone tissue (Fig. C)
• ergonomic handle to ensure a safe grip and a better manoeuvrability, with the force distribution on the palm of the hand
• luer lock connector for cytological aspiration
• luer lock cap indicated to close the needle avoiding blood leakage
• integrated sample trapping device, featuring a particular patented design which allows the sample capture, eliminating the deflection technique (Fig. D)
• extraction wire with blunt tip and depth marks, intended for sample size evaluation and sample retrieval
• safety guide, intended to cover the tip of the needle to avoid dangers for the operator during sample recovery
