SAESSAK BILIARY STENT

Description

The Saessak is a 50% open and 50% covered biliary stent, used for the palliative treatment of patients with malignant biliary strictures. The unique uncovered moving cell construction allows each cell of the stent to expand up to 10mm, therefore enabling stent in stent procedures. The PTFE covered part prevents tumor ingrowth and create a smooth inner side in order to reduce sludge formation and food impaction. The Saessak is availbale in 10mm diamter and lengths 8-10-12cm. 8mm diameter and 40/60% PTFE covering are available on special request.
