RF AMICA-PROBE

Description

RF AMICA-PROBE is a disposable electrode for radiofrequency thermoablation.

• medical grade stainless steel cannula, totally isolated (except for the exposed tip) and centimeter-marked
• pyramidal tip to facilitate percutaneous access
• ergonomic “L” shaped or straight handle
• totally disposable and pre-assembled hydraulic circuit and cables
• built-in thermocouple for temperature monitoring at the tip of the electrode
• embedded memory chip for probe identification, verification and selfsetting of appropriate safety limits
• Special Models:
– Uncooled applicators, with distal thermocouple sensor optimized for accurate measurements of the temperature of tissue surrounding the probe exposed tip (-OS models).
– Applicators for external perfusion (models -W1 or -W2 depending on the number of holes drilled through the exposed tip).
• very good tip and shaft visibility under US and CT scanning
• adaptable coagulative performance through selection of an adequate combination of energy delivery mode (either manual, temperaturedriven or impedance-driven), treatment power and target temperature, treatment duration and electrode model and exposed tip length
