AMICA-GEN is a programmable microwave and/or radiofrequency generator for thermal ablation treatments.

• Easy and user-friendly graphic interface with touch screen display to setup the procedure parameters
• Display or footswitch-controlled energy activation/shutdown
• Peristaltic pump built into the generator with automatic control
• Automatic identification of the applicator and selection of the corresponding default working parameters
• Separate ports for the connection and monitoring of the grounding pads
• Continuous monitoring of the relevant parameters during the ablation: time, delivered power, temperature, reflected power (only in microwave treatments), impedance (only in radiofrequency treatments), energy deposited in the patient
• Maximum portability and compactness. Dimensions: 47 cm x 35 cm x 13 cm

• MW energy deployment modalities:
– MAN mode: continuous delivery of the set power (up to 80W net on probe)
– PULSE mode: intermittent delivery of the set power (up to 180W net on probe)
• RF energy deployment modalities:
– MAN mode: continuous delivery of the set power and visual/acoustic notification of impedance hikes
– AUTO mode: automatic power adjustment (up to the set power), based on impedance changes
– TEMP mode: automatic adjustment of the output power for reaching and maintaining a manually selected tissue temperature target
